Known trojan infection not detected after full scan

Yesterday I got a message from Microsoft Defender saying it had detected a trojan called Oneeda.a!ml. This led me to purchase Bitdefender. But after running full scan it didn't detect the trojan. Now I'm concerned with the forums all saying it's very dangerous and if I shut it down it will install itself when rebooting.

  • Hello @dbldown10s and welcome to our Community!

Windows Defender can sometimes be overly cautios, giving false positives in its detection. However, we cannot rule out anything until we can see some logs. You can either submit them through BD Supportool (found in the BD folder), or upload the bdyslog here.

    Cheers,
