When I bought Bitdefender there was a Bitdefender anti virus app included, which was installed in Programs on my Mac. Since the last update or for some other reason (?) the BD anti virus app is no longer in my program section on my Mac (I did not remove it). The BD VPN, Uninstaller and Agent are still in my program section. It seems I can now only get a malware check through a remote action after I log in on the BD Agent, which is annoying, especially because the anti malware is not always done when I give the command. Because of this it can take days before the check is done.
When I had the BD anti virus app in my program sections on my Mac, it started the anti-virus check right after opening the app and the given command.
Is the malware check also a virus check (anti-virus)? I want to know, bbecause that's why I bought BD for..
Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker. Sorry it these are silly questions, I have no clue about these things. I just miss the app in my Mac Program.
