How does it work on a Formatted computer?
My laptop has a Bitdefender total security subscription, but it´s having some issues with the screen, reason why i'm sending it to be repaired or whatever they can do to it. Thing is, there's a chance that the people who fix it will reset it to factory settings. So How would that affect my Bitdefender subscription? Will i have to use another device slot for the same device? Is it possible to back up my information in the Bitdefender app?😕

Since Bitdefender will be uninstalled from the device in this scenario, you can use the Central account to remove the device from your subscription to free up the slot. Here you can find detailed steps on how to do this:
Afterwards, you can re-install Bitdefender by following the steps described below:

After completing the installation process, the Central account will display the refreshed device as protected again.
