Full system scan is always failing after very long time running

I just started using Bitdefender in trial mode to estimate is it really working good and have stable problems.
I am able to run quick scan, dedicated folder scan, but trying to do system/full scan always failed.
It takes some abnormal amount of time (23-24h) and scans about 16M of items and than just fails. Tried 2-3 times the same results. Previously I used Kaspersky Free, it has once similar crash problem, but otherwise full scan takes about 7-10h and completes (I seen somehow it shows smaller number of scanned items like 5-6M). Totally occupied by files space something less than 400GB.
Error message doesn't provide any glue:
"Bitdefender Antivirus Scanner has encountered an error. If the problem persists, please contact your local Bitdefender representative"
any ideas how it could be fixed? log files?
