Disable Password Manager Login Tab

Hello :)

I've enabled a couple of settings, one in the BD app itself, and one within the Password Manager.

Even though I've checked these settings, I'm still getting the tab that opens up in Chrome, asking for me to login. What am I forgetting to do, or am I not aware of? I had made the settings and restarted Chrome.

    Hello @Scott,

    This happens because the Wallet ( the previous password manager) and the new Password Manager are totaly different services. The settings are not the same for both apps.

    The settings in the first screenshot are for the Wallet that is available in the Home User solutions. Apart from Premium Security which includes Password Manager in the bundle, the rest of the portfolio offers the Wallet (with the possibility to purchase the Password Manager separately, of course).

    The settings for the Password Manager extension can only be changed from within the extension itself (second screenshot). I apologize for the confusion, the developers are currently working to fix this as soon as possible.

    I agree the information displayed for the Wallet is a bit confusing and we have received several inquiries regarding this. But it's being fixed by our developers, as we speak.

    Yes, it makes sense. I just thought I'd tick every option I could. The BD Wallet panel can be confusing when it also displays Password Manager. And sometimes it doesn't take much for me to get confused, lol :)

    I have checked the disable box in the Password Manager settings, but it continues to ask me to login every time....do you have any other suggestions?

    Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do at this time. Many members here have posted about this issue, we're just waiting for the developers to create a fix for it. It is a bit annoying, but it's part of the new Password Manager's growing pains :)

    The PW manager setting "Disable login tab on startup" still doesn't work and since I purchased the subscription it no longer works on MS Edge. Previously during the trial period only Chrome and Firefox didn't work. When will it be working properly? I removed the extensions on Chrome and Firefox.

    Just got BD and the password manager and this is very annoying. i hope it gets fixed very soon.

    Hello,

    The testing phase for a feature that will no longer require the login every time is scheduled to take place in the upcoming sprint next month. I do not have an estimated time for deployment, because this feature is also tied to the Safari extension. The developers have submitted their request to Apple and it is pending approval. As soon as Safari support becomes available for the Password Manager, they can move forward with the rest of the developments.

    Thank you for that update, Alexandru. Sometimes we may not understand all that happens or needs to happen behind the scenes in what is required to fix, patch etc. an app, especially when it involves another operating systems browser, and in getting that approval.
