Android 12 battery/CPU distress

Hi,

I have licensed BD in my Samsung Note10lite (Android 12)
BD version 3.3.163.1957

For about a week now I get this message from time to time

Device care: Some apps or processes are overloading the system (CPU) and need to be closed
com.bitdefender.security:scanner CPU:22.75%
----------------

and of course I see BD eating my battery away every day..
I don't know what could be causing it, I have tried device restarts, app restart, app cache cleaning
I have a feeling that this is caused by Storage SCAN (internal/external) which I had ON but I haven't tested it yet

Anyone with similar experience?

  • I removed the app and did a clean install. It seems to be steady now for a few hours. If it appears again I will report

    (btw this is why an import/export settings should be implemented )

    I am seeing the exact same thing on my Samsung Galaxy s6 lite.

    This has occurred since upgrading to Android 12 and Samsung one ui4.1

    I really don't want to uninstall/re-install unless there is no other option.

    Any solutions yet?
