Is it possible for onedrive to carry problems from previous computer builds over to the new?

I have been having issues and with my new nitro 5. I know they aren't the best computers but it was working fine then my cpu tanked on itself. It doesn't utilize the Nvidia gpu at all and is pretty much running everything from cpu even after I make it all run through Nvidia card. I'm sorry I'm new to this. I'm a console player and I'm 30 so this is a whole different world and I don't wanna just let it happen again and again
