Safepay does not open some links automatically


Hi to all,

I have seen that this problem is present from 2012 on old versions of SafePay...

When I try to open the website of my bank, SafePay should open the site automatically (it is in SafePay bookmarks and the "Open automatically" option is active), but it doesn't.

The problem does not occur with other banking websites. Some website work, others no ...


The problem does not resolve using a different browser (I tried with Firefox, Chrome, Edge ... behavior is always the same).

    Hello @gubbiolo,

    It can happen that a certain webpage is not detected by Safepay as online banking website. Make sure Encrypted web scan option is turned ON. To find it, go to Protection > click on the Settings button in the ONLINE THREAT PREVENTION module, then make sure the ENCRYPTED WEB SCAN slider is set to ON(blue).

    If the banking website is still not detected by Safepay and does not open automatically, I would recommend contacting the Technical Support Teams, as more information might be required to troubleshoot this.     1-- "It can happen that a certain webpage is not detected by Safepay as online banking website" --> it is not possible that this is the problem because I have set that these websites are ALWAYS opened in safepay. I don't leave Bitdefender to figure out if it's a banking site. In addition, the flag  ENCRYPTED WEB SCAN is still active.

    2-- "I would recommend contacting the Technical Support Teams" --> I have already opened an incident with support but it has been more than 5 days and I have not received any response! Nothing...

    I've a question... how can i check the progress of my open support ticket? I only found where to open a ticket but not where to follow it and / or request an update

    There is no way to check for the status of the case, apart from the notifications that are sent to you in the event a resolution is pending, or one of the agents replied on the case and a response is required from your side.
