How do I stop bitdefender from blocking popups from safe sites?

Are you using Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin for your browser?

Pop-ups may also be blocked by the Anti-tracker feature in Total Security. The Anti-tracker extension blocks trackers that collect your data, and it allows you to view and manage this information on each website you visit. It keeps your browsing data private and enhances performance by loading webpages faster. When the Bitdefender Anti-tracker extension is activated, its icon appears next to the search bar in your web browser. Every time you visit a website, a counter can be noticed on the icon, referring to the detected and blocked trackers. To view more details about the blocked trackers, click the icon to open the interface. Besides the number of the trackers blocked, you can view the time required for the page to load and the categories to which the detected trackers belong. To view the list of the websites that are tracking, click the desired category.

This problem started only after installing Bitdefender and I did turn off the Anti-Tracker and that didn't help.

If you are absolutely certain the websites in question are safe, try to add them as exceptions in Bitdefender - Protection - Online Threat Prevention - Manage Exceptions.
