Merge two licenses of the same category.

Good evening,

I recently bought another Bitdefender License for my secondary device, but unfortunately, that device has died and I have no plans to replace it anytime soon.

Due to this, I have two separate licenses, with one just being idle. Is there any way two merge these licenses, so as to extend my first license validity?

They are both fully paid licenses and are of the category "antivirus plus for 1 device"

Thanks a lot.

    Hello.

I assume the first and the second subscription are for 1 device.

Merging two licenses of the same category can be done only when renewing early:

Since the two Activation codes for both different subscriptions are added in your Bitdefender Central account for two different devices, you can't merge them.

BUT, you can (and should) reallocate your primary device to the new Bitdefender subscription with longer validity period.

First, you must remove your secondary device (which has died) from your Bitdefender Central account, by following these steps:

    https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2795/

That way you will free up a slot for the primary device to be added to that subscription.

And next, do the reallocation process by following these steps:

In other words, doing that, you reallocate your primary device from the subscription with shorter validity period to the subscription with longer validity period.

    Regards.
