I am not able to see my which apps my child has downloaded on his phone.

I am trying to restrict certain apps my child has on his phone and also see his contact list. Though I was able to view previously now the only apps I am able to see are his settings and gmail. None of his contacts are visible. Is there something that might have gone wrong? I had to reinstall it because he was also able to delete the parental app from his phone. I recently changed the password. Hopefully he won't be able to again.
