Why do i get I/O Errors only in Rescue Environment ?
So i have Bitdefender total security and never had any issues with it. I do Systems Scans pretty regularly and never get reports of any problems ( no infections, no input-output errors, etc ). I recently activated the rescue environment to scan my system and to test this feature. This scan also reported that my System is clean but i noticed a high number of input-ouput errors which i wouldnt get on the normal System Scans (12546 I/O). My Question now is why do i get this specific number of I/O Errors (exactly 12546 I/O Errors every time) only during the Rescue Environment Scan ? There shouldnt be a problem with my drives as the other Scans (quick and System Scans) dont show any I/O errors. Are there specific files bitdefender can not access during Rescue Environment ?
