How can I add a Drive Letter for my USB Flash Drive to the Exceptions
I have a Flash Drive permanently plugged into my laptop, and it is always assigned D:
Every time the Laptop is started, it goes into a full scan of the Flash Drive as a new device connected, when it is not new. I added D:\ to the exceptions but it still does a full scan.
I can uncheck USB Flash Drives, but then that applies to all. So if I plug someone elses Flash Drive into another USB port, it won't get scanned.
Shouldn't Bitdefender see the D drive and respect the exception ?
See here, D is still scanned everytime laptop is started up.

This is weird since you have tried setting up the exception and they are not working. Also you have tried disabling the scan of usb devices in settings but it will lead to disabling scanning of all usb devices until you go in for the manual scanning of those usb devices.
I would request you to do the following
Generate bitdefender support tool logs (https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1733/)
Share the logs & your query with bitdefender support team by dropping them an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com
The support team will reply back to your query within next 24-48 hours excluding weekends.
