PADLOCK NOT SHOWING.

I'm on a trial version of total security.My problem is the padlock in the browser or lack of it.

If i use edge browser,i prefer it,i do not get the padlock,i get it on some websites but not on my bank website.I get a box that says,added security & a shield that has a tick in it.

If i use Firefox,i get the padlock,the box doesn't appear.

My understanding & everything i ever read has always been.Do not enter financial details if there is no padlock showing.

I was about to purchase total security when i noticed this so i didn't continue.

I suppose some will say use Firefox,but i'm not happy that the padlock is showing in Firefox but not Edge.

Why.

Any answers appreciated.
