E-mail includes HTML codes

Hello,

I am using Mail for Windows 10. Recently emails from some senders have displayed HTML codes and are essentially unreadable. It's the same group of senders every time. I can read the messages on the web.

Some Google research gave me the impression that this could be caused by the anti-virus program somehow modifying the email before passing it on to the e-mail client.

How can I troubleshoot this?
