Network printing slow down

I have a print management server on 2012r2 Server with around 10 Xerox printers on it. When Bitdefender is installed on any of the staff computers printing takes around 1min a 45 sec. When Bitdefender is uninstalled printing works normal and jobs take 4-10 seconds. I've disable the firewall in Bitdefender but that did not seem to fix the issue. I've tried adding rule exception but that did not work either. I am at a stand still here and do not know what else to do.

Has anyone else experience this problem and have a solution?

Try to turn off the Advanced Threat Defense module and see if the printing time improves.

If the printers use a specific software, ATD scans the respective process, because it continuously monitors running processes to identify anomalies in apps behavior and correlates different suspicious behaviors to significantly improve detection. If it is solved with ATD off, set an exception on the printer software by following the steps described in the article below:
