How does this feature work? All I know is that PG produces strong passwords. How does it interact with my account & PW at a site? Specifically, if I use a password generated by PG at a website where I already have an account & password setup, what happens. Is my current password changed automatically? Does the 16-character PW that replaced my previous password stay with my account at that site?

Hello again, @The_Armenian :)

If you log into a website using a password that you had previously imported into BD Password Manager, then ask BD to generate a more secure password for that site; yes, it will overwrite your previous password with the now new, more secure one. It is then synced to the BD servers across all of the devices you have Password Manager installed on, to then use that new password.

Regarding how BD generates the passwords, it is proprietary on their end. But we do have options on what it generates.
