Password Manager and IOS 16

I have downloaded/installed PWM from the Apps store for my iPhone running IOS 16. How do I use it on my phone? If I go into the App and click on an entry it doesn't go to the website and auto-populate as it does in Windows. I have tried opening an app and hoping it would auto polulate but it doesn't seem to do that either.
Can anyone advise?
