Hi UN,
Could you give us a little more information, please. Is PM trying to change already saved passwords for a website?
Kind regards,
Scott

I just bought PM (along with other BitDefender stuff) and haven't even installed PM yet. I have some understanding of it but can't find an answer to my question. There is a business website that I log into multiple times a day and several business email addresses that I access constantly where the passwords MUST stay the same. If changes are ever made, I must do them manually because they must be communicated to my manager for emergency backup use. My personal email passwords and any other websites can fully utilize the manager, that's what I bought PM for. I just need to exempt some things from automatically changing.
I hope that helps. Or, if I'm totally misunderstanding the concept, please educated me or point me in the right direction so I can teach myself. Many thanks.
Linda

Thank you for the helpful reply, Linda.
Since this is beyond my normal use and understanding in using Password Manager, and I don't want to steer you wrong, let's have @Alexandru_BD who works for Bitdefender, take a look at your question for any suggestions he may have.

Hi @UN,
Password Manager does not make any changes by itself. It will not set a random password for accounts, if this is what you are asking.
You can check our FAQ and support articles for more insight on functionality, but also the user guide for detailed information and usage tips:
I hope the information is helpful and please let us know if you have any questions.

I am starting a volunteer position with the Humane Society. They gave me a temporary password to sign in to the scheduling website. I am directed to reset my temp password with a new one. I want to enter a password of my choosing. password manager keeps changing my password to one it wants me to use. This has happened several times and may jeopardize my volunteer position. how do I stop PWM from doing this?

Hello @micsandra,
The Password Manager won't generate passwords automatically, unless specifically requested to do so, basically you need to click the option to put in a generated password. You can try to disable this temporarily from the extensions/addons menu, but the exact steps depend on the browser you are using.
So, what browser are you using?Regards
