winbigdrip.life Opera browser redirection
Greetings to all,
I am having a Opera browser redirection to this winbigdrip.life site only to one site that I normally access. The reason I subscribed to Bitdefender is to get rid of this redirection.
Already uninstalled and reinstalled Opera, but it did not solve the problem.
I´ve tested Spyhunter and it found some issues related to malwares. Interesting is that Bitdefender does not find anything. All scans are clean.
Does anybody knows how to solve this redirection?
Thanks and best regards.

Just a follow up...
The problem was solved with SpyHunter.
The question now is if Bitdefender worth buying.

Not every antimalware or antivirus vendor can detect every malware. Malware authors continuously develop new and more sophisticated malicious software, making it a challenge for security software vendors to keep up.
However, technologies are constantly improving in order to detect as many threats as possible.
You can have a look at the links stated below to see how many vendors depend on the Bitdefender engine or use the Bitdefender engine in conjunction with their in-house-built engine.

Hello @sohei,
Browser redirects are very common and I think an antivirus catches them only of they try to install suspicious files or attempt to change anything on your system.
Even security software can face some problems when it comes to adware, and that’s because there are legitimate services that come bundled with ad-based software. Even if detecting adware is difficult, it is almost impossible to determine the extent of the damage. Often, advertising companies illicitly combine open-source applications with adware, and this sometimes happens against the wishes of the developer. In order to distribute these unofficial ad-supported software kits, advertisers trick the original website itself and register domains for the purpose of typo-squatting.
You can find out more information on adware and browser redirects by clicking on the link below:
To answer your question, Bitdefender is definitely worth buying.
