Blocking access to GOM player on Win 10

Hey there!

I wish to block the persistent pop-up adverts that GOM player throws when the app is starting and also the webpages it launches automatically on app closure. Not to mention the bloatware it installs in the background every now & then! :/

I have blocked GOM and GREtech (the developer) from accessing the internet via BD firewall but it still finds a way to access the internet. Has anyone else faced this issue? How can I fix this issue? I don't want to get rid of GOM, I have no issues with the app's UX other than this.
