Query on file should it be there should I delete it or let it stay ?

Prior to and post a detailed scan I noted the file under the Protection tab in the Exceptions listing namely /private/tmp/com.bitdefender.com.

If I should delete it how to do this ?

    The /private/tmp/com.bitdefender.com file is a legitimate file from Bitdefender. It is a temporary file that is used by Bitdefender to store data during scans and other operations.

    You can safely delete this file if you want to, but it is not necessary to do so. Bitdefender will automatically delete the file when it is no longer needed.

    I recommend that you let the file stay. It is a harmless file that is used by Bitdefender to protect your computer. If you delete the file, Bitdefender may not be able to function properly.
