New Steam scam ?
Got a message from a friend on Steam to visit a website that showed in the message as the original Steam Workshop site to upvote his friend's creation there. I opened the website/link thinking it would take me to the Steam workshop item, but it took to a weird website that just says content not available in my country, and it wasn't blocked by Bitdefender ! Is there any damage done to my PC ? the link: https://steam.workshopbrowse.com/shared/Awp_Porcelain

You should report the URL(s) as false negative to Bitdefender Labs here:

Hi @Hypernova
edit: It looks like your friend cleaned up the link, as it now goes directly to the webpage. Still a clean site, by Virus Total, and no browser flags.
It looks like your friend just wanted you to see his handy work. I also checked it on a PC with a different AV, and it was not flagged. I checked it from VPN USA and France, with the same result, just a site that if you move your cursor around the page, moves the line/dots around (i.e. bad gateway page?). My quick scan came up clean, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool came up clean on this PC I checked the link with, as well as with Virus Total.

Thank you both for the replies, I was worried. My friend messaged me and apologized about the link and told me to change my passwords if I logged in (which I didn't) because it seemed he was affected by some malware which sent the messages. I was worried because I know sometimes visting a bad URL can be dangerous.
Thanks :)

No problem, you did good, you did the right thing by asking :)
And you're welcome :)
