Basically nothing. No progress indicator and issue keeps reappearing.
In that case, you should contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by chat, telephone or e-mail:

Select: How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products -> Troubleshooting -> select your Bitdefender product, for example Bitdefender Total Security, click on Contact Support in the black box and then click on Chat 24/7.
NOTE: Bitdefender telephone support is not toll-free!

I suspect they will suggest reinstall the Bitdefender (Internet Security).

I also think they will advise a clean reinstall in this case.. please keep us posted on the resolution, maybe we can help other users that may encounter this in the future.
