Malware warning

Bitdefender just started warning me about two files in a program I've used for a few years, CyberPower Power Panel. The two files are pppd.exe and WMIC exe.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled the latest version of the program. It stopped after the uninstall and restarted with the new version. This program connects to my battery backup unit.
Is it a false positive? I tried to whitelist the program but it continues.
