Bitdefender Total Security - how do I disable Email Protection

I enabled protection for a few Gmail accounts and need to disable it for one of them. Nothing in the FAQ (https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/91168/). I can't find and easy "disable" or remove function. Do I need to disable access from the Gmail side possibly? Seems a bit unintuitive.

    Hello.

    Regards.

  • Thank you. I have the same color combination and I could not see the ellipsis on the right. I cannot even see them in the image you posted, but when I looked very closely I could just make them out. Bitdefender should make them contrast with the background more.

    Again, thank you!

Totally agree with that. Cheers. 🙂

  • I uninstalled Bitdefender. It took several attempts, even using the Bitdefender uninstaller tool. I got rid of all of it except the labels in gmail. I have tried everything. When I remove them with the settings on Gmail, they will go away, but when I log back on, they are back. How to I get rid of this, it is so irritating.

To disable Email Protection in Bitdefender Total Security, follow these steps:

    1. Open Bitdefender Total Security.
    2. Go to the "Protection" tab.
    3. Click on "Settings" next to "Advanced Threat Defense."
    4. In the "Email Protection" section, toggle the switch to turn it off.
