Suspicious connection blocked - tombstonebuilder.com, unsafe or false flag?

Options

Hello all, I was on forums.spacebattles.com, just bored and suddenly I got 2 notifications saying this.

"chrome.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an untrusted certificate to www.tombstonebuilder.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since untrusted certificates are issued by unrecognized Certificate Authorities."

I have uBlock Origin mostly to stop popups and it makes me feel safer online, and when I looked at the connections on the ublock thing and there was a tombstonebuild.com allowed to be connected.

My main question is, should I avoid that website now, is tombstonebuilder.com malicious? Or is it Bitdefender just being cautious? Even if Bitdefender does block those connections, I still don't want to be on websites that make Bitdefender need to block a connection. I was on that website for the last hour and only just got that notification a few minutes ago. So maybe it was that specific page or some kind of forum feature?

    Hello @Scoop_112,

This alert appears when you try to visit a secured website (HTTPS) with an invalid security certificate. It tends to be websites with lots of ads, such as news websites, and analytics companies with an expired certificate trying to establish a connection. If you wish, you can check their SSL certificates at https://www.sslshopper.com/.

To avoid any security risk, it is advisable to exit right away the page you are about to visit. It’s that easy. No further action is required on your part.
