Internet disconnect

I am asking advise on how to prevent my computer from disconnecting from the internet once I do the sleep command, Bitdefender at times will not connect back up to the internet at all and i will have to reboot computer and still no connection at times. Bitdefender is the one doing this, is there a place where I can deactivate this feature in the software to prevent this from happening ?

Thanks for the info, I did go to the settings and did the recommendation, I am hoping that this settles the issue, the reason that I though that it was Bitdefender is because a small window pops stating that Bitdefender has reconnected to the internet.

Bitdefender does not have such a setting. Internet is disconnected by Windows by default when the computer is put in Sleep mode. You can turn that off in Windows.
