I made the game work by adding crysis.exe in excluded processes.

Do you have any updates on this? i'm still experiencing the same issue when running C&C3. (with internet security 2013)
Disabling the active virus control does provide a work-around. However, I also tries to use the exclusion options without any luck.
I'm looking forward to have a real solution for this.
