ps...chrome shows wallet in settings as an extension but doesn't show up in plug ins!!

  •

I managed to get autofill to work on IE 11, after I enabled the extensions. I am still not able to get autofill to work with Chrome, even with extensions enabled.

I also find that the wallet tends to lose its password, which requires deleting a file in Safe Mode. It is a bit confusing because to turn Wallet ON/OFF you use the Master PW, but to edit Wallet you use the Wallet PW... ??

Oh well, I guess I need to put in another support request.

  • Sounds like more trouble than its worth

  • Here Wallet works sometimes. However, such data does not satisfy my name, email address, credit card data, etc.. You're all set, extension enabled, but not working. Should have a way to "close" the wallet similar to functionality of Norton Identity Safe toolbar.

Does anyone know if these will fix bugs with Wallet?

  • Just installed Bitdefender and wallet did not autofill in. I think I have a solution. I.G. amazon.co.uk, in order to activate autofillin you need first to sign out, than autofillin works.

    Hello all,

If the Bitdefender Wallet does not auto-fill the credentials, we would recommend first following to the letter all the instructions available in these 2 articles:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/support/-1202.html

    http://www.bitdefender.com/support/what-to...rking-1187.html

If the Wallet still doesn't work with the 3 web browsers Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, it could be a permission issue. In Safe Mode, go to this folder:

    C:\ProgramData\Bitdefender\PasswordManager\S-1-5-21-2754729776-1528654807-2421713154-1000

Note: the string is different for each system

Right click on the string folder (in our case S-1-5-21-2754729776-1528654807-2421713154-1000) and choose Properties -> Security tab-> click Edit -> Add -> (in the lower field) Enter the object names: type your current Windows user name -> click Check names -> OK -> select your user from the above list-> check "Allow" for all the check boxes except the last one -> Apply -> OK.

Restart the computer normally and remake the Wallet settings.

Feel free to post back if you require further help.
