Total Security 2016 Causing Slow Internet And Computer Freeze
I have been using Bitdefender for many years without problems however I have just upgraded to Bitdefender Total Security 2016, was using 2015, since upgrading I have been having major problems with internet speed and computer freezing during downloads or speed test's I have a 200Mb down 20Mb up connection and always have been getting speeds between 198 en 203 Mb down since the update to 2016 I am getting between 30 and 50 Mb and as soon as I start the speed test everything freezes even the mouse pointer until the test has finished then everything returns to normal. I uninstalled Bitdefender 2016 from my computer and immediately the problem went away Does anybody have any ideas??
I am running a clean install of windows 10

Are you watching videos or are you streaming anything? Just download this tool https://technet.microsoft.com/de-de/sysinternals/tcpview.aspx (no intslallation needed) and take a look if there are any connections with the status fin_wait2. If yes, the problem is caused by the http-scan.

I am sorry to hear about the issue that you encountered with the internet speed.
As a temporary workaround, please disable the Port Block Scan in the Firewall tab and the internet speed will revert to normal.
Please keep an eye out on the main thread(the one you added above) as we are currently working on resolving this situation.
