How do I custom scan specific files/folders/drives?

Hi,
How do I get this tool to scan specific directories? For some reason the full scan just stalls at 45%, the number of files goes up slowly. I tried setting a custom scan and only ticking 
\ drive. It just scans all drives and stalls.

or my own method is by going to the directory itself using windows explorer. look for the folder, right-click, click the bitdefender icon and look for scan with bitdefender.0
