Hi, im unable to connect to the server to activate Bitdefender Total Security 2018 after installation on Windows 10 Professional 64bit. I've tried numerous uninstalls with the bitdefender uninstall tool and tried the following steps from this post...

    Most of those steps no longer apply. Did you try to change to google DNS ? Or tried to activate the product while connected to a completely different network (if possible)? 


  • Thank you, changing the dns settings resolved the connection problem.


    Google's Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are:


    8.8.8.8


    8.8.4.4


    Google's Public DNS IPv6 addresses are:


    2001:4860:4860::8888


    2001:4860:4860::8844
