BitDefender Services are not responding

I have just made a fresh install on my laptop, I have restarted multiple times but I still can't get Bitdefender to launch correctly. The icon is greyed out and every time I start the application it shows the "Getting Started" page and many of the features don't work.  

I have tried to uninstall the program to repair it but I keep getting the "You don't have permission" message. 

How can I repair the instillation?
