how can I create custom DNS entries for my LAN while using bitdefender total security and box 2?
I want to setup custom DNS entries on the bitdefender box 2 such that my devices can resolve foo.mydomain.com to LAN IP when they are connected through the bitdefender box 2 soho network.
note: the same name foo.mydomain.com is also resolvable from the internet but pointing to my ISP provided public IP which, in turns has some ports forwarded to specific subsites....
something fairly common to dnsmasq.

I am already familiar with using a custom DNS server.
I am asking how can I add custom DNS entries for my LAN... for instance, I have device called foo.mydomain.com on 192.168.0.15, I need box to allow my other machines on my Lan to resolve the name 'foo'.mydomain.com over DNS to 192.168.0.15. Furthermore, the same name is resolvable from the internet through my public ISP IP address 111.222.333.444.

Indeed, for those interested, bitdefender couldn't address the issue that the box2 level; I used a local host entry for static machines but since it wouldn't work for cell phones and laptop, ended up swtiching the box2 with an asus router running merlin open source firmware.
