AV Vulnerability
There is malware out there that uses a "bloat trick" to fool all AV's into not detecting it as malware. They inflate the file to say 750 MB with about 150 KB of it is malware. The majority of the file is empty space. It is not detected and stopped by AV because of its size. Does Bitdefender have any plans to correct this new technique of the "bad guys"? Thanks.

We need either the hash of the sample or the sample itself to provide you with any information.
Also could you also share the link from where you got this particular information.

Hello.
In this case, only the malware research engineers from Bitdefender Labs can help you.
First, take screenshot(s) of the issue and create a log file on your Windows device using BDsysLog, by following these steps:
Next, contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:
with short description of the issue.
After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.
Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log file you already created in the first step.
Since you are all done, just wait for the support engineers to investigate your issue and find a solution to fix the issue.
Remember that the screenshot(s) and the log file will help a lot to the support engineers for better and faster investigation on your issue and finding a solution.
Regards.

No, you have it all wrong, I did not say I experienced this malware, I merely asked about it, and can Bitdefender defend against this sort of malware? That's all, just a general non-specific question. As far as where did I get the information, it is on YouTube for all to see. PC Security Channel.

I do follow the PC Security Channel on youtube occasionally. You are most welcomed to share the specific youtube link here in order to provide you with the necessary information.

Hello @AlmostNearlySociable,
I assume this is the video, correct? I'm impressed.
I have now passed this to our malware researchers for further analysis.
