Why is uBlock Origin for Chromium download blocked by Bitdefender?

I don't see any issues between ublock origin and bitdefender. I have been using the extension on my google chrome for past many years. To re-verify, I uninstalled the extension and reinstalled it without an issues.
As far as the .crx extension package of ublock origin goes (the one shared by you "cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm"), below is the virustotal link

Can you share the screenshot of the image when bitdefender blocks your connection attempt to download ublock extension.

Also, do the following steps:
First, take screenshot(s) of the issue,
create a log file on your Windows device using Bitdefender Support Tool, by following these steps:

create a log file on your Windows device using BDsysLog, by following these steps:
Next, contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:
with short description of the issue.
After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.
Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log files you already created in the first step.
Since you are all done, just wait for the support engineers to investigate your issue and find a solution to fix the issue.
Remember that the screenshot(s) and the log files will help a lot to the support engineers for better and faster investigation on your issue and finding a solution.

I was not able to reproduce this issue on microsoft edge chromium also. Well, I would request you to kindly follow the procedure as stated by @Gjoksi in above stated comments.

I already raised a request. But support team is asking me to define an exception, which should not be the case. Any suggestions for escalation.

The support team will reply back to your query within next 24-48 hours excluding weekends.
Additionally, have you tried disabling real time protection in bitdefender (https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/28557/) and then adding the extension to respective browser and then re-enabling the real time protection in bitdefender.
