Suspicious connection blocked "browser.pipe.aria.microsoft.com"
A week ago I had something of a cyber scare and did a whole overhaul on my passwords and decided to download bitdefender. Now when I open Chrome (and all loaded tabs) I get blocked connections to "browser.pipe.aria.microsoft.com".
I've tried googling and I'm fairly certain it's a false positive. But what scares me a little bit is the explanation by bitdefender. It says that it blocked the connection because:
"chrome.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to browser.pipe.aria.microsoft.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one."
So it's blocked because it isn't actually routing to microsoft.com? And could I see what the certificate is issued to? Could someone explain to me what this notification is and if I should be worried and take action?

Thanks! But like I said, I see reports of it being a fairly normal error. A false positive. But I can't really lay a finger on it, there isn't a definitive answer. Does someone know more about this connection/certificate?
In my bitdefender app I got a little more info. A longer url. It's actually:
browser.pipe.aria.microsoft.com/Collector/3.0/

Hello again.
You could also report the URL as false positive to Bitdefender Labs here:
Finally, you can contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by following these steps:
First, take screenshot(s) of the issue
and create a log file on your Windows device using Bitdefender Support Tool, by following these steps:
Next, contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:
with short description of the issue.
After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.
Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log file you already created in the first step.
Since you are all done, just wait for the support engineers to investigate your issue and find a solution to fix the issue.
Remember that the screenshot(s) and the log file will help a lot to the support engineers for better and faster investigation on your issue and finding a solution.
I can't think of anything else that can be done about your issue.
Kind regards.

Hello @Joosstje ! Certificate seems valid , as checked here: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=browser.pipe.aria.microsoft.com/Collector/3.0/
So let me know if Bitdefender behaves the same .
cheers,
Mike
