Slow and cuts out
I am new to Bitdefender. I installed it yesterday for the first time. I am experiencing a few teething problems.
- Some pages take longer to load (some take about 30 seconds). This never happened with my previous anti virus software.
- When I listen to the radio (streaming) I occasionally lose connection (briefly) then it connects again. It can be a pain when it happens repeatedly.
Are there ways around these teething problems?

Hello.
-- STEP 1 --
Uninstall the Bitdefender program using the Uninstall Tool.
For Bitdefender Paid version click here:
For Bitdefender Trial version click here:
It will completely remove the program.
Next, reinstall Bitdefender from your Bitdefender Central account and see if the issue has been resolved, as reinstalling the program usually solves the issues.
-- STEP 2 --
If the instructions from Step 1 didn't help, follow the instructions in this step.
First, take screenshot(s) of the issue,
create a log file on your Windows device using Bitdefender Support Tool, by following these steps:
and
create a connectivity log file, by following these steps:
Next, contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:
with short description of the issue.
After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.
Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log files you already created.
Since you are all done, just wait for the support engineers to investigate your issue and find a solution to fix the issue.
Remember that the screenshot(s) and the log files will help a lot to the support engineers for better and faster investigation on your issue and finding a solution.
Regards.

If you were to totally disable Anti Tracker, do web pages load faster, and does the online radio work better?
Some of us, including myself, have disabled that feature and found things to work better while online. We found that to be a solution in this thread as well:
It's not a problem in a sense that you're disabling a key feature of Bitdefender security, as if you go into your main BD console and click the left side, Protection/Online Threat Prevention/Settings, you will see all of the other key features that are keeping you safe online. Others like uBlock etc. as their anti-tracker option.
