How do I install the download file for bitdefender?

I just purchased a subscription tonight around 8:30P.M., verified my email and have been able to log into the bitdefender central but everytime I click the "Install" button on antivirus plus OR VPN it proceeds to tell me that it is downloading on the top right of my browser but it eventually times out and says cannot download file, I check my downloads yet it is not there. Ive disabled my other antivirus programs, disabled adblock, disabled windows security, tried 2 different browsers and it still wont download. The system requirements on my end are compatible, Im about to just refund the product due to lack of ease of use, this is honestly ridiculous and the fact that I had to provide proof of payment from my bank just to initially purchase this is also suspect. What a nightmare.

    I can download the installation file without any issues/errors.

    Select: Activate & Install -> Install -> select your Bitdefender product, for example Bitdefender Total Security, click on Contact Support in the black box and then click on Chat 24/7.

    I'm sorry to hear this, but surely there has to be an explanation and a quick fix.

    I'll jump in here to say that if you are encountering the message "downloading one of the installation files failed" there's a probability that the kit wasn't downloaded completely due to a network issue. Try using a different Internet connection and reach out to the Support teams, as advised by @Gjoksi above, because this situation can be easily resolved by them. If the system requirements are met and if another security solution is not installed on that device, you should be able to install Bitdefender without any issues whatsoever.

  • Download the online installer for your respective Bitdefender product from the links provided below instead of downloading it via Bitdefender Central

    Once your respective Bitdefender product is installed, a Bitdefender dialogue box will open. You will need to log in with your registered Bitdefender Online Central details, and after a successful login, your product will be synchronized with your Bitdefender Online Central account. Therefore, your product will be registered and activated with Bitdefender Online Central automatically.

    Depending on the product you've selected and the type of issue you're facing, you can get in touch with a support representative via email, chat, or phone.

  • Good news everyone, after logging back in today I was actually able to download the installation file for Bitdefender, im not sure what was happening last night but it’s seemed to have resolved itself. If anyone else is having issues still feel free to reference the other comments from other members giving support. Thank you everyone for your input.
