Hostgator CPanel & Email Blocked.
Has anyone as recently as the past 2 weeks experienced issues connecting to HostGator's cPanel or even their email servers to send/receive email?
URL = https://gatorXXXX.hostgator.com
I've added the specific URL from the Notifications and the domain (hostgator.com) to the Online Threat Prevention Exception list, but still unable to access the cPanel or retrieve emails.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Having the same problem with cpanel - not at hostgator - but cannot get access to it from any browser.

Bitdefender isn't blocking cPanel for me.
Also, the VirusTotal link below shows no detections.

Same thing happening to me. Just started using bitdefender this week. Using Hostgator. Can't get into cPanel on one of my accounts but I can on the other. Disable all bitdefender web protection and I can get in with no problems. I have added gator4055.hostgator.com to the exceptions list but it did not help

I submitted a help request. It took a few days, but they were able to remove false positive that identified cpanel as a malicious site. My cpanel was not on Hostgator - but you should send the cpanel url you are having trouble with. It might take a few days, but now I do not have to diable any of my protection to access my cpanel.

Thank you. I spent about 20 minutes with online chat support but they weren't much help. They escalated the issue and someone is supposed to contact me. In the meantime, I found that I have to disable all protections(except I can leave encrypted web scan on) in "online threat protection" to be able to get into the cPanel page.
