How is it possible for a Bitdefender complete scan to show clear when it obviously was not ?

Guys, obviously those are fake antivirus pop-ups.
@Jim G there's nothing wrong with your PC. The notifications and pop-ups in this situation do not have anything malicious attached to them, but when you click on them, they will redirect to malicious sites that try to collect your data or install abusive or dangerous software. Oftentimes, these notifications present themselves as virus alert pop-ups from reputable companies, but they’re actually fake.
These notifications are usually browser redirects and Bitdefender cannot take any direct measures related to them, such as adware that you agreed on or something you enabled, like site setting, site notification, redirects in your browser or installed toolbars, extensions or applications. However, Bitdefender will block access once and if you click on those links, which I strongly advise not to do.
There's also nothing wrong with Bitdefender in this case. You just need to keep in mind that antiviruses don't usually come with features that can protect you from fake virus notifications, in the event these are triggered by installed toolbars, extensions or applications, but they will still provide protection against what's behind them.
You can see that even the 'Windows' notification is fake just by looking at the source: ………..enhanceprotocol.co.in and via Microsoft Edge, clearly triggered by the browser.
These notifications can easily be removed by following the relevant steps posted in the comments above.
So, now you can relax. 😉Regards,

Next, contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:

After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.
Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log files you already created in the first step.
Since you are all done, just wait for the support engineers to investigate your issue and find a solution to fix the issue.
Remember that the screenshot(s) and the log files will help a lot to the support engineers for better and faster investigation on your issue and finding a solution.
NOTE: If any of the log file is larger than 25MB, you can upload the log file here:
After the upload is done, you will get a notification with the file's URL and then you can share the file's URL with the Bitdefender Consumer Support.

Hi @Jim G
I'm just curious, are you running 3 Av's at a time? That is a wonderful recipe for chaos ;) :) Is McAfee the browser extension add on? I haven't run Windows Security enough to see any type of malware pop up. It almost doesn't even look like a true Windows Security pop-up, but I could be wrong?

The middle image of Avira says it all. Avira never has that interface; the scan interface is similar to Norton's, and that says it all 😂
To make my point and prove it correct, you might find the link below helpful. Look at the images in the link; they are the same as those the user attached.

The newest version of Avira look like this. That version is from around 2005+? I think we've been had ;) :)

Yes, I know that. I use it sometimes for testing purposes. Over the years, Avira has been very slow in updating its user interface; hardly any changes are noticeable. Avira is more focused on malware detection than on changing its GUI.
