Guys, obviously those are fake antivirus pop-ups.

@Jim G there's nothing wrong with your PC. The notifications and pop-ups in this situation do not have anything malicious attached to them, but when you click on them, they will redirect to malicious sites that try to collect your data or install abusive or dangerous software. Oftentimes, these notifications present themselves as virus alert pop-ups from reputable companies, but they’re actually fake.

These notifications are usually browser redirects and Bitdefender cannot take any direct measures related to them, such as adware that you agreed on or something you enabled, like site setting, site notification, redirects in your browser or installed toolbars, extensions or applications. However, Bitdefender will block access once and if you click on those links, which I strongly advise not to do.

There's also nothing wrong with Bitdefender in this case. You just need to keep in mind that antiviruses don't usually come with features that can protect you from fake virus notifications, in the event these are triggered by installed toolbars, extensions or applications, but they will still provide protection against what's behind them.

You can see that even the 'Windows' notification is fake just by looking at the source: ………..enhanceprotocol.co.in and via Microsoft Edge, clearly triggered by the browser.

These notifications can easily be removed by following the relevant steps posted in the comments above.
So, now you can relax. 😉
