Thank you for your understanding.

I need to five devices to use on my current total security plan.

I no longer need the 10 device plan as I am only have five devices. I would like to reduce the number from 10 to 5 on my renewal. How do I do this?

    Hello.
ONLY Bitdefender staff can have access to your Bitdefender Central account, your devices, your payments/purchases and/or your subscription(s).
So, you should contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by chat, telephone or e-mail:

Chat is the fastest way to get in touch with Bitdefender Consumer Support.
Select: Purchase & Manage Subscription -> My Bitdefender Central Account, click on Contact Support in the black box and then click on Chat 24/7.

    Hello,

That's not really something that can be easily achieved in my opinion. For sure, one can downgrade the subscription once it expires, but removing slots from an ongoing subscription/license is a different story. Because the security suites come with a predefined configuration that cannot be altered due to several reasons, including the renewal flow, if enrolled in a subscription, the protection is set to renew for a specific number of devices, as it was initially purchased.

I personally see nothing wrong with having empty slots, obviously the subscription was already paid for, so removing slots will not adjust its initial price anyway. I can see how this could pose an inconvenience when the renewal date comes, since it will be more expensive to renew for 10 devices instead of 5, but in this case you can simply disable the automatic renewal feature beforehand (if enabled), then renew your protection manually by placing a new order for a subscription that can protect up to 5 devices instead of 10.
So, I would let it run as it is for now and downgrade before the renewal date of the existing subscription/license. 😉

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
