Hi Sorin, I have already done a fresh install of my AV+ & I have also tried the add remove programs - bitdefender - reinstall as well but as I mentioned in original post that just changed my AV+ to Internet security. no other security software was install at the time.

No one has any ideas if this is normal from bitdefender? It didn't to this with the previous creators update. I have also noticed that when web protection is set to scan SSL I get a lot of blank pages in chrome, turning scan SSL off solves the issue.

Finally got it sorted no thanks to support on here, 65 views but no replies. Can someone from Bitdefender please tell me why they removed the ability to use a custom install location from the installer?

I don't get the Elevation Helper UAC prompt at startup but I do get it every time I plugin a USB stick which is a pain, didn't do that in 2013, 2014, 2015 or 2016 versions of AV+

Just wanted to post that the issue now seems resolved after Opera released version 26.0 Build 1656.60 just before christmas, there is no longer any slowdown with opera loading tabs so what ever the Opera dev's changed in the new version has resolved the issue with AVC being active.

The Chrome bell icon usually appears when playing a video full screen ie on Youtube & it then wont vanish until you close Chrome. I did use "Customize" to "Hide Icon and Notification" but is still shows, there is a massive thread on Google Chrome product forums about it affecting both MAC & PC.

Well I ended up restoring the image I had made with 360IS installed, this was due to the drag that BD was adding to my system, programs were taking 1-2 seconds longer to open & web browsing was much slower, also due to the complete lack of support from the so called forum team here.

Well I finally got round to this issue again, created a system backup with Macrium Reflect free then uninstalled 360IS & rebooted then cleaned any remains & then rebooted again, this time I downloaded the slightly larger offline setup file of BDAV+ & installed it, rebooted then got the first product update & rebooted…
