Well I uninstalled BD Free and I'm still not getting that update on this computer. I did get it on my laptop. Both have AMD processors and both are running Windows 10. I have to check the tablet which has an Intel Atom. Check that. It just came through on this one.

Add another one to the list. uBlock Origin is nice but it's filter updates are also blocked by BD free. Every filter says there was a network error. I don't think there are any auto-scans but to me that's a good thing. I always turn off auto-scanning because it's redundant and useless. There also is no reason to do scans more than once a month and even that may be too much.

To me , it looks like what you have is not the real Bitdefender. The publisher should not be SOFTWIN and I have never seen a version number stated like that in CCleaner. In my opinion , auto scans are not needed. I always turn them off in any AV product. They're just a waste of resources and always seem to happen at the worst possible time.
