Any news if BD has/will fix the App?
-
Mike, Still getting the same alert. Thanks
-
Okay. I need to figure out what that resource is pulling. Thanks
-
Sure, Mike. It's iPhone 6 Plus. IOS 10.2 I've been noticing now that it does it intermittently. I also have the continuing issue when scrolling through devices. The scrolling hesitating/jerking.

16 hours ago, Michael Bitdefender BOX said: Hello, we finished analyzing the resource and concluded that we were dealing with a false positive detection. The website has been unblocked and you should no longer receive a notification regarding it. Mike. Thanks for looking into this. I also wanted to say that it shows for…

No ticket needed. However, the IOS app is still buggy.

Oh. You're talking about Central. Sorry. My bad. I really don't find a lot of use for Central other than showing what device are protected. As far as more capabilities to doing around in, your best gain to the IOS app, Android App (which I know nothing about) or to the Anti-virus software loaded on the OS if running It on…

Sure thing. Apology for there late reply. The only devices I've noticed this warning shows for is IOS and OS X. Haven't seen it with Windows 10. Thanks, Goatlocker

Everything they write is correct. If the device is in your 'Notifications' and not yet added to 'Guest' or 'Family', you need to do that. Then you can go in to 'Devices' and deny network access for the item. Then you can go to the ellipse (three dots) at the top right corner and select delete device. Hope that helps.…

Hey, Doug. If you want, email me at goatlocker@icloud.com so I can try and help. I've had issues, but I think I've resolved most, if not all of them.

hey dpaking. I wish I could help you out. I don't own a Roku, so I cna't provice a troubleshooting comparison. Maybe someone else within the Forum (BD) can help. What I will tell you is I have noticed that my wireless will sometimes wig out whereas before owning BOX, it was never an issue. Luckily it doesn't happen often!…

I was thinking. Why now is this a problem with the app? As far as I'm able to tell, it was working fine and no known update to the app has taken place since I've owned BOX. The only other explanation I could see is it's due to an iOS update that affected the app?

So this is a response for those following this thread... Hello Thank you for your reply. This is a known issue and we are currently working on providing a fix. There is no need to worry because this is just a display issue and there is no actual vulnerability for your devices. We will be able to release a fix through an…

Okay. some, but not all the devices have reappeared within the app. Most of the icons are still yellow showing devices at risk.

Will do. Thanks

Sorin, Went ahead and used the uninstaller and then went back into BD Central to download the AV program. As you will see, the AVP folder is back, the console has returned, and I received an indication that the program was updated. I will restart in Bootcamp and come back to the OS X side to see if it remains.

Yes, Sir. No Icon in the Launchpad and the BitDefender Icon that was in the App bar turned into a big question mark. No where to find the Bitdefender Control panel. Actually. I just noticed the AVP folder does not exist, unlike your screen capture. Any idea what would cause that folder to be removed? Thanks

Sorin. I think I might have stumbled upon the reason for BD Mac Uninstalling. I run boot camp Windows 10. Win10 has BD installed and works like a charm, but when I reboot into Mac OSX, BD is gone on the OSX side. Is this a problem even if BD is on two separate partitions?

Problem resolved. Found Ban Hammer's post regarding the use of Bitdefender Uninstaller under Utilities.

Hello, Please note that would greatly assist the community if you post a screenshot of the situations you encounter. Do you have any other security solutions on that iMac ? Best way to resolve this mistery is to contact our BOX Support via phone or email : 1-800-804-4602 / boxsupport@bitdefender.com Nope. No other…

Hey, Sorin. Just noticing that other forums for Bitdefender are well traveled. Just odd this one not so much. I'd expect to see a bit more discussion regarding people's successes or troubles with this (BOX) technology. Pretty reasonable expectation.
