(Very) Annoying Automatic Activation of New Subscription


Following notification that my subscription was due to expire on 9th July, I purchased a new subscription and received a new activation code on 16th June. I did not activate the new subscription at this time. Two days later I received the following email:

'We gladly inform you that your Bitdefender Total Security subscription has been automatically activated and associated with your Bitdefender Central account.'

So now I have lost nearly a month on my old subscription and am unable to delay the start of the new subscription. (I tried the + Activation with code trick but did not get the option to extend/delay)

How can I recover the lost days that were so annoyingly taken due to no fault of my own?
