What should I do when a Windows update fails and causes data loss or corruption?
All I want to know is what to do if I experience data loss and corruption due to a failed Windows update and lose my data. I attempted a few other approaches to recover my data, but I was unable to find a solution. I became aware of several data recovery services for retrieving data. I can recall a few of them, including [*software product names removed by @Flexx*]. Please advise on what I should do!

Hello,
It's unclear to me if data loss already occured, or if you just want to take preventive measures for this. If you have recent backups, check to see if lost data can be restored from them. If software tools do not work or if the data is highly critical, you might consider professional data recovery services.
I can't really recommend any, but I can give a brief advice on the best practices here, so a couple of preventive measures for the future. I think the rule of thumb is to use cloud storage or external drives for regular backups. Ensure you have a robust update management process, including creating restore points before updates, and be extra prepared for this scenario by having a plan in place for data recovery, including software.
I hope the information is helpful.

Kindly have a look at the link below to see if it helps
There is also a data recovery software developed by Microsoft for Windows 10 and Windows 11, available for download through the Microsoft Store. Below is the link for the same.
