I am trying to put a exception or link in a white list type affair (i.e. myannonamouse) and it wont let me. I think this software is stopping me in that it is stopping stuff getting through. As you can tell from my language, my knowledge of computing and all that guff is sadly lacking. With any response please don't blind me with science as I am not very good at it.

Let's see, are you trying to set an exception for an URL/website, folder, or an app?

This article will show you how to exclude safe files and folders in Bitdefender:

And here's what to do if Bitdefender is blocking a safe website:

.exe apps can be excluded by following the steps from this article:

Finally, if the exception cannot be set and the detection persists, you can use the form available at the link below to send the sample to the Bitdefender Labs for investigation:

I hope this helps. I know this may seem overwhelming at first, but if you take the steps above one at the time, you'll see it's easy to add exceptions in Bitdefender.
